Track your workouts such as runs or bike rides with GPS, see and save the stats, compare different workouts and even compete with older activities.
GoFaster lets you see your progress by offering the ability to compare stats from different workouts. Comparing is made simple, as the app includes algorithms that automatically categorize your activities into routes. On each route, your activities are ranked, making it easy to keep track of your fastest activities.
If you like to make even more comparisons, you can compare your workout with a pace. So if you are aiming for a pace of 8 minutes per mile, you can se how your activities stack up to that pace. You can even animate a hypothetical 8 minutes per mile pace on a map, together with your actual workout.
Another feature is a competing-mode that lets you challenge yourself by competing against previous workouts. This competing-mode lets you see, in real time, where you currently are, and where you were at the same time during a previous workout. It also shows you how far ahead (or far behind) you are in terms of both time and distance.
You can even compete against a pace of your choosing, on existing routes. So you can, for example, compete with a constant 8 minutes per mile pace.
GoFaster supports measuring distance in both kilometer and miles. You can also change between miles per hour (mp/h) and min per miles (min/miles), or between kilometer per hour (km/h) and min per kilometer (min/km).
Other features include:
* Automatically stop tracking when you are standing still, and automatically resume tracking once you start again.
* A timeline of months or weeks that lets you scroll through your history.
Keep in mind that this app depends on receiving GPS locations, which can have a great effect on battery. So make sure you have enough battery when you use GoFaster.
